What’s the PacSun return policy?

PacSun’s generous return policy lets you return an item in-store or by mail within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

However, not all products are eligible; different refund methods exist for different items.

You have to prepare the original receipt and tags. If you return the item within 30 days of your purchase date, PacSun will refund your original form of payment.

You can still return your item after 30 days, but your payment method won’t matter.

If you return an item after 30 days of purchase, PacSun will only provide merchandise credit or an e-gift card that you can use for online and physical stores.

In-Store Purchase

  • You can’t return in-store purchases through the mail.

  • Items with only gift receipts (and exchange receipts) are not considered to have an original receipt and are therefore not eligible for refunds.

  • Marked-down items at the return time will not be eligible for a refund without the original receipt.

Online Purchase

  • You can return online items to a physical PacSun store if you have the invoice and the credit or debit card used to pay for the order.

  • Items purchased with a payment processor like CashApp, Bitpay, PayPal, and Venmo that you return via mail will be refunded using the same payment method. You can also return them in-store, but PacSun will only refund you through store credit.

  • A cash bank transfer through CashApp, Bitpay, PayPal, and Venmo accounts is still possible, but only through mail-ins.

Do I Need My Receipt or Invoice to Return an Item to PacSun?

A PacSun return without receipt is possible, but only for non-markdown items. Store associates may also ask you for your personal information and a form of ID.

Additionally, PacSun doesn’t provide refunds without a receipt. They’ll only give you merchandise credit equal to the item’s lowest selling price in the last 30 days.

Keep the original receipt or invoice if you want a refund via your original payment method.

What Is PacSun’s International Returns Policy?

PacSun allows international returns within 30 days of purchase. However, you can’t return international items to your local PacSun store.

More importantly, PacSun has a specific return process you need to follow. If you placed your order before 7 a.m., you must notify their customer service using a specific contact form.

You must use a different form if you placed your order after 7 a.m.

Exchanges are impossible for international returns, so if your order is eligible, PacSun will refund you.

Furthermore, you’ll have to pay the shipping fee for the return package.

What Is the PacSun Holiday Return Policy?

You can return purchases made during the holiday season (November 1 to December 14) until January 14 of the following year to get a full refund for the original price paid.

However, you must have the original receipts or invoices. The items must also be unused and unwashed.

Are There Exceptions to PacSun’s Return Policy?

Some items are not eligible for returns at all. Here are the exceptions to PacSun’s policy.

  • FOG Fear of God items, such as Fear of God Essentials and the like, are final sale items and are ineligible for returns under any circumstances.

  • PS Reserve and Alliance Entertainment items are ineligible for returns.

  • You can’t return women’s underwear, pierced items like earrings, and facial masks for sanitary reasons.

  • You can only return swimwear if they are unworn and have their hygienic liners and original tags attached.

  • Items tagged as markdowns or final sale items at the time of return are not eligible without a receipt.

  • Purchases from third-party sellers are also not accepted.

What Is the PacSun Exchange Policy?

There is no PacSun exchange policy. PacSun doesn’t allow merchandise exchange because their stocks move too fast.

You can purchase the same item once you get your refund or merchandise credit equivalent to the current selling price of the returned item.

How To Return Items to a PacSun Store (Online and In-Store Purchases)

Here’s how to return your item to a physical store.

  1. Secure the item you want to return, along with the receipt. Make sure that the original tags are still there. If it’s an online order, you should also have the credit or debit card you used to purchase.

  2. Go to the nearest PacSun branch.

  3. Inform the PacSun customer service that you would like to return an item.

  4. Give all the necessary information.

  5. Wait for your refund.

How To Return PacSun Items by Mail (Online Purchases Only)

The PacSun online return policy doesn’t allow mail returns of physical store purchases, so only online purchases are returnable by mail.

Here’s how you can return online purchases by mail.

1- Secure your item, the original invoice, and the tags.

2- Go to PacSun’s order locator.

3- Fill up the order reference number, email, and zip code fields.

6- Print out the return slip.

7- Stick the FedEx prepaid return label to your package.

8- Take your package to the nearest FedEx location or Happy Returns and have it shipped based on your choice.

International orders have roughly the same process, but you use a different order portal.

Does PacSun Have Free Returns?

PacSun free returns are possible in physical stores. Bring your item, the original receipt and invoice, and your payment method.

When returning online orders by mail, they will deduct $4 from the PacSun refunds if using Happy Returns and $10 for direct mail-ins.

You’ll need to pay for your return shipping fees. PacSun will refund any customs, tariffs, and taxes you paid to receive your original order.

For example, if you return an item in-store, Pacsun will need three to five business days to process your refund.

If you return an item via mail, it will take about 20 business days to get your cash or store credit and five more days for the money to be credited to your bank.
